1. Annecy Lake
It's difficult to talk about paragliding flight in Haute-Savoie without mentioning the famous Annecy Lake ! Most of the departures take place at the Col de La Forclaz at 1250 metres altitude, on the edge of a cliff, to get a first adrenaline rush right away. Then, it's just happiness. Surrounded by mountains, the lake is deep blue, for a breathtaking panorama.
2. The Semnoz
Another possibility: the Semnoz, this 1700-metre high mountain in the north of the Bauges massif. Well installed in your tandem harness, you will have an exceptional view of the summits and the city of Annecy. A great place to discover paragliding.
3. La Clusaz
La Clusaz is famous for its typical Haut-Savoyard mountain pastures and its sublime panoramas. The take-off is generally planned in altitude (around 1900 meters) after a short ride on the chairlifts. And it's worth the detour: once in the air, you will discover the Aravis mountain range and the Grand-Bornand.
