Winter paragliding is an amazing experience that can be achieved without the use of lifts. Although it may seem intimidating at first, with a little practice it can be a fun and exhilarating way to spend your winter days.

There are a few things you need to know before you take off. Make sure you wear the right equipment, including a warm coat, hat and gloves. It is also important to dress in layers, as you are likely to get colder the longer you are in the air.

The best time to fly is in the early morning or evening when temperatures are cooler and winds are lighter. Be sure to check the weather conditions before you go, as winds of 30 km/h or more can make flying dangerous.

If you are new to paragliding, it is a good idea to find an instructor who can teach you the basics. Once you've learned the basics, you'll be ready to take off on your own!

The "ski touring" flight

Tasty mix of ski touring for the ascent, and a panoramic flight for the descent, this combo will give wings to your winter mountain outing!

Supervised by a ski and paragliding instructor, discover the joys of ski touring, supervised by a professional who will explain the technique, the snow, its traps and guide you in complete safety. From the summit, after a tour of the area and a little refreshment, get ready for an extraordinary descent, a tandem paragliding flight in the company of your instructor!

Two classical formulas are proposed to you, on request, we can consider other outings according to particular conditions.

THE SULENS MOUNTAIN : ( Alt. 1839 meters)

To reach this summit perched in the heart of the Aravis between the imposing Aravis mountain range and the magnificent Tournette, we will start from Plan Bois, a small plateau located at 1300 meters of altitude, so we will have to climb 540 meters before thinking of taking off from the summit dome.

The flight will be in direction of the pass of the marsh (alt. 843 meters), so a flight of 1000 meters in the heart of the Aravis!!! There will always be a little corner to find some good cheese from our region as a bonus!

THE GREEN EAGLE OF THE CHINAILLON : (Alt. 2045 meters)

The hike to the summit is a classic route in the Grand Bornand valley, busy but very wild. This hike will make you discover different environments, snowy mountain pastures, lapiaz scattered with fir trees, then the refined crests of the summit.

The takeoff will be lower precisely to avoid being on the edge of the ridge, on a more favorable area! Once in the air, you will fly in the direction of the Village of Chinaillon which you will quickly leave behind you to go to the top of "Grand Bo", where the landing is always with skis on the feet. 1000 meters of flight also for this flight over your authentic village resort of Haute Savoie. The instructor will not fail to show you the local maps to complete your amazement !
