Description of the Acrobatics Flight
The Acrobatics flight is not only about gaining altitude, it’s also about taking your time!
A paragliding baptism marked by aerobatics, thermals, and thrilling sensations… Annecy Parapente offers it to you in an absolutely breathtaking setting.
This flight takes place only in the afternoon, to ensure that weather conditions allow you to enjoy the thermals. The 25 to 30 minutes of flight time let you truly discover the activity and leave time to wander. Once in the air, you can take the controls if you wish and if the conditions permit. This flight is also a unique opportunity for pilots who want a guided pedagogical experience and to discover the sensations of an acrobatic flight.
This flight is available from the end of February until October.
How the Acrobatics Baptism Flight Unfolds
Your meeting point is in the town of Talloires-Montmin, about thirty minutes from Annecy. You’ll be welcomed by our team, who will explain everything you need to know before taking off. Then, our pilots will take you to the launch site, where you’ll be equipped with a harness and helmet.
Once attached to the paraglider, you’ll walk towards a gentle slope to inflate the wing and then accelerate to take off. Don’t worry – at no point will you need to jump into the void.
During the Acrobatics baptism flight, the pilot will head for the areas with the best thermals to gain altitude. You will experience thrilling sensations at different moments during the flight, near the mountains or over Lake Annecy.
Just before landing, you’ll need to stand up again and take a few steps as you touch down – no problem at all.
After landing and packing up the paraglider, we’ll take you back to the starting point by shuttle.

Concernant la limite d’âge maximum, si la personne est mobile, qu’elle peut marcher et trottiner alors on peut la prendre en charge et choisir les bonnes conditions pour l’emmener voler.
From what age can I fly a paraglider?
There is no age limit for flying. When you are a child from 4 or 5 years old, we can take a child if he wants to and if he is ready, without any problem.
Concerning the maximum age limit, if the person is mobile, can walk and scoot, then we can take him/her and choose the right conditions to take him/her flying.
A-t-on le vertige en baptême de parapente ?
Ne vous privez pas de voler si vous avez le vertige car vous n’aurez pas du tout cette peur une fois en l’air !
Are you afraid of heights when paragliding?
Surprisingly, this is a concept we don’t have because our feet don’t touch the ground and we are sitting comfortably.
Don’t be afraid to fly if you are afraid of heights, because you won’t be afraid at all once you are in the air!

Can we fly paragliders in winter?
Adrenaline Parapente is open every day all year round. We can fly all year round, either from the Col de la Forclaz, even if there is a little snow, or from Courchevel where we take off on skis for other sensations.

Who will be my pilot for my first paragliding experience?
At Adrenaline Parapente, all our pilots have a state certificate. They have all made their passion their profession.
All our gliders and harnesses are also recent and revised every year to ensure maximum safety.
Quel poids pour voler en parapente ?
What weight to fly a paraglider?
As a general rule, there is no minimum weight for paragliding. However, to take light people we will choose the right moment in the day. For the maximum weight, we stop at 115kg for the passenger.
Can I fly a paraglider if I am pregnant?
For pregnant women, it is better not to fly, even if there are no shocks or risks, we prefer to tell them to wait and find the right moment to fly serenely.
Puis-je voler en parapente si je suis enceinte ?
Pour quelles raisons mon vol peut-il être annulé ?
Nous prenons le bulletin météo la veille et si nous pensons qu’il va y avoir des précipitations, de l’orage ou trop de vent nous préférons annuler le vol pour des questions de sécurité.
For what reasons can my flight be cancelled?
When you book a flight, it may be cancelled through no fault of our own.
We take the weather report the day before and if we think there is going to be rain, thunderstorms or too much wind we prefer to cancel the flight for safety reasons.
